PCB Piezotronics Names Jeffrey Case to Head New Automotive Technologies Group
September 1, 2007, Depew, NY, USA – PCB Piezotronics (PCB®), a global leader in the design and manufacture of force, torque, load, strain, pressure, acoustic and vibration sensors, announced the appointment of Mr. Jeffrey Case to head the newly formed PCB® Automotive Technologies Group. The PCB® Automotive Technologies Group is a dedicated sales and technical support facility, located in Novi, Michigan, devoted exclusively to the global automotive test market including vehicle NVH and Dynamics, vehicle and component performance and durability, legislative and safety, crash, and powertrain testing applications.
In his new role as Automotive Technologies Group Director of Sales & Marketing, Mr. Case will be responsible for worldwide technical sales and marketing, engineering, customer service, and target market focused strategy development of all automotive products under the PCB® umbrella. A 15-year veteran of the automotive testing industry, he was formerly Chief Program Engineer at Ricardo North America, where he was the company lead for all commercial vehicle programs delivered in North and South America, and led engineering teams responsible for multiple aspects of vehicle testing and development. Mr. Case also served as Vehicle Engineering Manager and Vehicle NVH Manager during his tenure. Prior to his time at Ricardo, he also served in senior NVH engineering roles at other automotive and vehicle testing facilities, including MIRA North America and Defiance Testing & Engineering Services.
Mr. Case is a graduate of Michigan Technological University, where he received a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. His areas of expertise include all aspects of NVH, as well as general vehicle development, vehicle systems engineering, and vehicle program management.
