Pilz at “all about automation” 2022 in Friedrichshafen, Düsseldorf and Heilbronn – individual and safe
Economical solutions for safe automation – including comprehensive services: This is Pilz’s focus at the regional exhibitions for industrial automation “all about automation” in Friedrichshafen (5 to 6 April 2022), Düsseldorf (11 to 12 May 2022) and Heilbronn (18 to 19 May 2022). The automation expert will be showing modular safety gate systems that satisfy the demands of both safety and security. The world's first modular safety relay myPNOZ in batch size 1 will also be a feature of the stand.
On the exhibition stand Pilz will use a model to demonstrate the different options and versions of safety gate guarding, depending on the application requirement. All versatile components for safety gate monitoring and access control will be seen in action. This includes not only the mechanical safety gate system PSENmech with guard locking, but also the PSENmlock door handle module for safe interlocking and guard locking up to the highest category PL e, with integrated optional escape release which is especially suited for more complex applications.
Added to this is the operating unit PITgatebox with new, preconfigured versions with combinations of pushbuttons, key switches and emergency stop pushbuttons for simple operation of safety gate systems. Together with the integrated new reading unit PITmode fusion, Pilz is offering an economical solution for safe regulation of access to plant and machinery as well as safe operating mode selection. The solution thus covers the requirements for safety & security. With the configurable safe small controller PNOZmulti 2, Pilz is also introducing a future-proof solution for implementing numerous safety functions with maximum flexibility.
Safety in batch size 1
In addition to the safety gate guarding, the new modular safety relay myPNOZ will also be on display. It can be put together individually without any programming knowledge via the online tool myPNOZ Creator. myPNOZ monitors the safety functions E-STOP, safety gate, light curtain, two-hand IIIA/C controls and enabling switches. The product is delivered pre-assembled, set and tested and so is a completely individualised system, ready to install. The logic operations for the safety functions are pre-defined via the plug-in sequence, so no programming knowledge is required. Visitors to the exhibition stand can test the myPNOZ Creator at the shows and create their safety solution live.
Safety & security talk
In the Talk Lounge in the centre of the exhibition hall, experts from Pilz also invite visitors to a deep exchange of knowledge as part of the “Safety & Security” thematic block in the “Safety gate solutions – the safe way!” presentation, where they will be discussing new solutions for the monitoring, guard locking and operation of safety gates. The presentation series is available to all visitors free of charge.
