Safe measurement under high voltage

The ISOBE5600 system developed by the measurement technology specialist HBM Test and Measurement offers the best options for such measurements.

Measurements under high voltage place particular requirements on the measurement technology used. The insulation between the transmitter and receiver units is provided by means of fiber-optic cables, which transmit the measured data securely and with high transmission rates.

The ISOBE5600 product family has a new member with the receiver unit ISOBE5600m. This receiver unit, with four channels, has an integrated transient recorder with a memory of 64 MB for measurements with a connected PC. In order to evaluate the data following measurement, HBM offers their Perception software. The system can be used everywhere where measurements take place under high voltage. Typical examples can be found in frequency converters, for instance for wind power plants, PWM drives for large motors or high voltage DC sources for electrolysis applications.
