The company chose DTS SLICE MICRO – a small, rugged and highly portable data acquisition system that can be configured to suit many applications for measuring vibration, strain and sound.

The unit is also very durable for the environments in which we will use it."

The miniature SLICE data recorders can be used for a wide array of product testing from bicycles to heavy machinery to sophisticated UAVs. With its rugged design, it is also suitable for crash testing vehicles and aircraft for occupant safety analysis.

SLICE’s modular design enables users to create custom configurations to achieve the exact feature set and channel combination desired for the precise measurements they are seeking. The portable three-channel modules can be stacked or daisychained for systems up to hundreds of channels. SLICE is packaged in a rugged enclosed for high-impact testing and is fully configurable including: sample rate, recording time, gain, offset, triggering, anti-alias filtering. Capable of recording for minutes to hours, all data is securely stored on-board in 16 GB of flash memory.
