SOLID-4E Safety Light Curtains are now also available as linked versions

Leuze: SOLID-4E Safety Light Curtains can be used both vertical as hand protection, finger protection or access guarding, or horizontal for danger zone guarding. Cascaded devices allow these applications to be easily combined with one another. Both fixed connections in L-shape and U-shape versions and variants with flexible cable connections can be used here. The costs for mounting and cabling are considerably reduced with the cascaded devices when multi-sided guardings have to be set up or point of operation guardings have to be combined with danger zone guardings as rear area protection.

SOLID-4E Safety Light Curtains are type 4 devices in accordance with IEC/EN 61496. They provide reliable protection, and with their sturdy and fail-safe construction, they also ensure the highest possible system availability. Protected by a warp-resistant profile housing closed on four sides and with their straightforward M12 connection system, SOLID-4E Safety Light Curtains are a match for even the toughest industrial conditions. Variants in 14, 20, 30, 40 and 90 mm resolutions reduce mounting times with their slender design and versatile fixing options. The restart interlock and contactor monitoring functions and two different transmission channels for the fault-free operation of closely positioned adjacent devices are freely selectable. With these features SOLID-4E Safety Light Curtains meet the highest requirements for integration potential, availability and cost-effectiveness.
