TAS 2.2 enables no-code data preprocessing
With release 2.2.0.0, TURCK expands TAS Desktop and TAS Edge with no-code data analysis, cleansing and transformation capabilities, as well as support for new device types
Mülheim, October 22, 2026 – TURCK is expanding its IIoT and service platform, the TURCK Automation Suite (TAS), with Release 2.2.0.0 for TAS Desktop and TAS Edge. At its core is preprocessing without programming: Users can convert values, generate statistics, filter and format data, and set transmission intervals or threshold values. This ensures that only relevant data is sent to MQTT brokers, databases, or the cloud. This reduces the amount of data transmitted and creates a focused basis for analysis.
TAS Edge now also forwards data from digital and analog devices via MQTT. As a first step, the software also supports 4RMC modules and records actual values for speed, torque, position, and temperature. This ensures a continuous supply of data from IO-Link, digital, analog, and RMC devices for condition monitoring and predictive maintenance. A new visualization feature displays the data directly in TAS Edge.
A new feature optimizes MQTT topics and resolves duplicates. Settings can be backed up via backup and restore of the TAS database or transferred to another TAS backend. A scheduler controls the TAS Edge IoT service, and IO-Link devices receive firmware updates via BLOB transfer. A generator assists with assigning device passwords.
