The Optocon AG celebrates 20 years fiber optic measurement with numerous innovative products

OPTOcon AG: The Optocon AG celebrates its 20 years anniversary. The manufacturer of fiber optic temperature measurement looks back on two decades of continuous growth. It was not always easy to establish itself in the international market. However, the company founded as a one-man company in 1993 has evolved into an internationally active, competent partner due to its modern philosophy. The Optocon AG can look back on a sustained corporate growth and a steady expansion of their product line.

Exactly 20 years ago Dr. Claus Renschen took the path to independence out of a spontaneous idea. However, the doctor of physics focused initially only on a consultancy as well as the distribution of spectrometers. His ingenuity earned him numerous patents in the field of fiber optics which has been developed over a wide product line. In 2003 came the change to GmbH, later to AG and with hand in hand many employees, which strengthened the company. In December 2011, the management changed. Mr. Helmut Sebastian assumed the position of CEO. Due to its long stays abroad he is a competent partner for Optocon's international clientele. Strengthened by new ideas and concepts, the Optocon could establish increasingly internationally and sells its products worldwide through a large network of distributors and partners.
