Mülheim, June 25, 2026 – The TURCK Group remains one of Germany’s leading medium-sized companies in 2026. The company was once again recognized in the 2026 Top SME Ranking by the magazine “Markt und Mittelstand”, conducted in collaboration with its research partner “Die Deutsche Wirtschaft”. In the electrical engineering sector ranking, TURCK took 2nd place among the top 50 SMEs. In the overall ranking of Germany’s 10,000 most important SMEs, the automation specialist ranked 20th.
The evaluation is based on a scoring model that encompasses a total of 39 criteria. In addition to quantitative metrics such as revenue and growth, the ranking takes qualitative factors into account, including innovative strength, digital visibility, and employer attractiveness. The goal is to identify companies that operate with sustainable success and actively shape technological change.
TURCK’s portfolio for factory, process, and logistics automation ranges from sensor technology and fieldbus technology to RFID and control technology, as well as IIoT and software solutions. Among its latest innovations are the TIV (TURCK Intelligent Vision) AI camera and the TURCK Automation Suite (TAS). The camera enables the automatic detection of patterns and deviations based on a small amount of training data, while TAS, as an IIoT ecosystem for the entire machine lifecycle, bundles functions such as configuration, asset management, and secure remote services into a single centralized software solution.
