Ultra compact 120W DIN-Rail Power Supply

After launching SDR-240 (240W) and SDR-480 (480W) high performance single output slim DIN-Rail series from Mean Well, PEWATRON continues to extend its product coverage to lower wattage applications. For the growing demand of low to medium wattage with high performance and space saving requirements, SDR-120 (120W) series, the AC/DC isolation class I power units, are formally introduced to the market now.

With up-to-date circuit design, SDR-120 series possess up to 91% of high efficiency and can provide 120W continuously or 180W peak power for 3 seconds up to 55~60°C by only free air convection. With built-in active PFC function, SDR-120 is a full range AC input (88~264VAC) switcher that fulfils the requirement of EN61000-3-2 for harmonic current. The slim design of 40mm in width helps to save precious space on the DIN-Rail and also makes it 30% smaller in size compared to the standard model DR-120 (120W). Meanwhile, SDR-120 also has 5~9% higher efficiency than the corresponding models of DR-120, which is a response to the trend of green power with energy saving concept.

Other standard functions include DC OK relay contact, on-panel LED indicator, protection against short-circuit, overload (constant current limiting, shut down if over 3 seconds), over voltage, over temperature. To fulfi l the requirements of marine and semi-conductor related usage, SDR-120 also complies with GL and SEMI F47 norms in addition to TÜV / CE / UL and cUL certificates. Suitable applications are factory automation, semiconductor fabrication equipment, marine related installation and all kinds of electro-mechanical applications.
