Universal IP67 I/O module for EtherCAT
TURCK’s TBEC-LL-16DXP offers 16 digital channels that can be configured as either inputs or outputs in a fully encapsulated, rugged housing
Mülheim, October 22, 2026 – TURCK is expanding its TBEC series of EtherCAT block modules with the universal digital module TBEC-LL-16DXP. The 16 channels can be configured either as PNP inputs or as outputs rated at 2 A. This allows users to meet various signal requirements with a single module type and reduce the number of variants in their projects. The module uses the proven TBEN-L housing, and the electronics are fully encapsulated.
Power is supplied via a 5-pin, L-coded M12 connector. Together with the IO-Link master TBEC-LL-8IOL for Class A/B and the RFID modules TBEC-LL-4RFID and TBEC-LL-4RFID-8DXP for HF and UHF, the module forms a comprehensive EtherCAT family. This allows most project requirements to be fully met with universal digital, IO-Link, and RFID modules, all in IP67.
TURCK provides three ESI files for integration: for TwinCAT and CODESYS, for Omron controllers with firmware version 1.4 or higher, and for Omron controllers with older firmware. In TwinCAT, all data points are available as individual variables. Configuration is thus performed in the familiar engineering environment. TURCK supports EtherCAT as a focus protocol alongside PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, and CC-Link IE.
