Upgrade for Balluff BMS assembly system
Secure hold guaranteed
Balluff: The sensor supplier and industrial networking provider Balluff is launching a new patent-pending version of its universal BMS assembly system. The basic holder, joint piece and sensor holder have been fundamentally redesigned. All three components are made from robust die-cast zinc.
A few steps are all it takes to quickly and flexibly implement even complicated positioning tasks with the heavy-duty standard elements in the tool box. The fastening technology is designed for use in diffi-cult industrial environments.
The new basic holder fits on virtually all manufacturer-specific as-sembly profiles and fully covers the groove. Extremely flattened on one side, this is also the first version of the holder suitable for mount-ing directly on a wall. The fastening screws are accessible from one side.
Lots of expertise went into the making of the new, completely rede-signed joint piece. It now consists of just two parts instead of five. Prior to final mounting, it can be pre-fixed firmly in its general position by simply snapping it onto the rod. As an especially convenient fea-ture, a clearly visible scale simplifies adjustment to the proper joint angle. Only one screw must be tightened for final mounting.
The sensor holders have been redesigned as well. They also consist of fewer parts and feature the practical snap mechanism for pre-fixing on the rod, making assembly much easier. An adapter disc with a 20 mm clamping unit is now included in the scope of delivery as well.
