Well-Rounded Safety Relay Family

The MSI safety relay family from Leuze electronic has been completely redesigned and equipped with pluggable terminal blocks.

With these interchangeable plug-in modules, the user himself can decide whether he prefers the screw terminal or spring-cage terminal connection system. All MSI devices take into account the most common user requirements for compact sizes, high reliability and long life expectancy through their mechanical and electrical design in an ideal manner. They thus facilitate economical integration in many safety-oriented interconnection scenarios – with the device versions with spring-cage terminals in particular, wiring takes place practically at the push of a button.

MSI relays function as monitoring and integration devices for safety switches, E-Stop command devices, two-hand operational controls, safety light curtains as well as single and multiple light beam safety devices. Furthermore, they make possible the start/restart interlock and contactor monitoring functions. In addition, the MSI 100 and MSI 200 programmable safety controllers are the optimum system solution for monitoring the safety circuit in small- to medium-size machines due to the simple start-up, the flexible configuration option and the broad, on-board functionality.
