RIFTEK: This System is developed by order of one of the major automotive components manufacturer.

Assigned Task
The task was to develop and produce precise Measurement system for contactless measurement of geometry parameters of wheel rim center bore.

Proposed Solution
Measurement machine based on rotational triangulation sensors with autocalibration was proposed to be developed.

Result
Characteristic features of the developed system are measurement head with two laser sensors (we divided all the range into two subranges to get required accuracy) and automatic recalibration before every measurement cycle.

The main features of the Machine are:

• Measured diameter range  50…70 mm
• ID measurement accuracy  ±5 um
• Depth of measurement  ≤200 mm
• Note: system parameters can be changed for a specific task.
• As usual we provide demo software and free SDK.
