High Temperature IEPE Accelerometers to 185°C
DJB Instruments has once again underlined their position as the leaders in high temperature vibration measurement by launching a complete range of IEPE accelerometers capable of withstanding use at +185°C. The new high temperature capability is part of DJB’s drive to providing ever higher operating temperatures across their range of accelerometers.
The new high temperature will now become the standard –HT version for all the DJB IEPE accelerometers, replacing the previous maximum of 161°C. Using a number of specialised materials for the hybrid circuitry in addition to the high quality Konic design of piezo-ceramic sensing elements, this development has been supported by extensive long term cyclic temperature testing lasting many months.
Available to order now Neill Ovenden, the General Manager of DJB Instruments UK Ltd factory said ‘Unlike many of our competitors who release one or two very limited accelerometers with this type of high temperature functionality we can now offer all our integral electronics IEPE accelerometers with the same maximum temperature, this includes our miniature A/123 and A/124 as well as our more general purpose A/120 range and everything in between. Indeed our next release due within the next couple of weeks is an IEPE teardrop accelerometer weighing just 0.25gms that can withstand 200°C’
As with all their sensors the new high temperature IEPE accelerometers are supported by a full range of cables, adaptors and signal conditioning to provide the complete solution.
