RIFTEK: A laser profilometer IKP5 Series is designed for the measuring of:

• wheel flange height
• wheel flange thickness
• wheel flange slope
• rim thickness
• full profile scanning and analyze of wheel rolling surface
• maintaining of electronic wear data base
• control of tolerances and sorting in the course of checkup, examination, repair and formation of railway wheelsets.

Measurements are made directly on rolling stock without wheel set roll-out.
