The first 2 Nm Torque Flange with overload protection

MAGTROL, specialist in torque sensors, presents a new torque flange, the "TF 205". Its measurement range of 2 Nm extends the range of TF flange torque sensor from 2 Nm to 200,000 Nm. Based on the strain gauges technology, the signal transmission is performed through telemetry.

The new TF has an accuracy of 0.1%, an overload protection up 500% of rated torque. His flat (41mm x Ø ext.75mm) and rigid design allows the construction of compact measurement assembly without bearings providing an easy implementation.

The TF 205 is suitable for motor or engine test beds, especially in the automotive area. Due to its overload protection, it allows accurate measurement on a reduced scale, while providing high starting torque due to rotational masses. An extension of the range to 5 Nm and 10 Nm sensor is coming soon.
