New High Temperature Accelerometer for Automotive Engine & Exhaust Analysis
Chatsworth, CA – January 25, 2010 – Dytran Instruments, Inc. is pleased to introduce the model 3092C which is a high temperature, piezoelectric charge output accelerometer. Designed for use in vibration studies in high temperature environments, this unit is capable of operating in temperature ranges of -60° to +900° F (-51° to +482° C).
Model 3092C has a nominal sensitivity of 5 pC/g and an upper frequency range of 5,000 Hz. The 3092C features a 10-32 radial connector, a 10-32 mounting hole, stainless steel construction and a hermetic seal.
The 3092C mates with an all new hardline cable assembly, model 6894AXX.
Potential applications include turbine engine vibration monitoring, vibration studies of automotive engine and exhaust systems, and general purpose vibration measurements under ultra high temperature conditions.
