Ultra High Sensitivity IEPE Accelerometer with TEDS, Model 3100D24T
Chatsworth, CA – April 21, 2010 – Dytran Instruments has just released a new IEPE accelerometer with TEDS. Model 3100D24T is a rugged, ultra high sensitivity accelerometer, and contains a ceramic shear mode sensing element. With a sensitivity of 1000 mV/g, this unit is ideal for low g applications.
Model 3100D24T is constructed using 300 series stainless steel, and has a 10-32 radial connector and 10-32 mounting hole. It features a case isolated design to avoid annoying ground loops and hermetic sealing for normal operation in moist and dirty environments.
Because of its ultra high sensitivity, the 3100D24T is ideal when high output is needed, such as during the testing of large structures such as bridges, floors and foundations. Its compact 5/8 inch hex housing allows for general purpose use in almost any location.
The 3100D24T accelerometer is offered with IEEE 1451.4 TEDS. This unit is also sold without TEDS as model 3100D24.
