New lines of RF65x.2D Optical micrometers
The efforts of our specialists to improve RIFTEK products have been successful and we are pleased to offer our partners and customers two new 2D Optical Micrometers lines.
Distinctive features of new RF657.2D and RF657R.2D Series design are:
- dual telecentric lens;
- green LED light source;
- high resolution cameras.
All this allowed us:
- to almost double the accuracy of the instruments;
- to increase the range of depth of field of view by almost an order of magnitude;
- to increase FOV up to 60x80 mm and 100 mm diameter;
- to reduce exposure time by 7 times and to measure items moving with speed more than 400 mm/s.
In addition, we have significantly improved the software:
- added many new Smart blocks (measurements, transformation and visualization);
- added the ability to use customer scripts in schemes;
- and perhaps the most interesting addition: the automatic creation of a measurement graphs based on the object's .dxf file.
Working with a micrometer becomes simpler and more comfortable.
The development of new micrometers coincided with the task from our Korean partners (Prosen), namely, measurement the geometric parameters of battery cells of electric car batteries. Requirements for the micrometer: field of view (height) – no less than 80 mm, cell movement speed - up to 400 mm/s, measurement error no worse than +/- 5 µm.
New RF657.2D-60x80 device satisfied all these conditions. We made a short video with the task description, graph creation procedure and the results of successful tests before device delivery
