American Patent for Euroswitch's pressure Thermostat 700
Euroswitch’s model 700 Pressure Thermostat has been granted a European patent that certifies its unique sensitivity and rate of response compared to similar products on the market and also the American Patent that shall protect the invention throughout the United States of America.
Designed for use in hydraulic circuits in devices of various kinds, the product prevents false low-temperature alarms, which are typical of the start-up stage, when the oil density is normally very high. It comprises an adjustable-setting diaphragm pressure switch with an NO or NC electric contact and a fixed-setting bimetal thermostat with the same type of contact in series with the pressure switch. This device is used to measure simultaneously the temperature and pressure of a fluid in relation to a preset value.
Designed entirely by EUROSWITCH, this device was developed following the realisation of the basic inefficiency that thermostats, in pressure thermostats of a known configuration, display in terms of rapidity of response in detecting when a set temperature threshold has been reached at the elastic diaphragm, highlighting a delay in the closing or opening of the first electric switch and/or of sensitivity to slight temperature changes.
The purpose of EUROSWITCH’s invention is to propose a pressure thermostat that avoids the defects found in the known state of the art and can respond promptly and with high sensitivity to changes in the temperature of the fluid. It is used in many industrial sectors, particularly in machine tools, industrial vehicles, and filter and filtration systems for hydraulics, lubrication, etc
