New FPT flush pressure transmitter including a completely welded, oil-free sensor system

The Swiss Corporation Trafag presents its new FPT flush pressure transmitter as a compact solution for many applications whose clogging, freezing, inconsistent, abrasive or crystallised media require an extremely durable, smooth and flush diaphragm without dead space.

Bubikon, June 2013 – a wide media temperature range from -40 °...125 ° C, large vibration resistance, high NLH measurement accuracy (BSL through 0, tpically +/- 0.3% FS), markedly compact design and long-term stable thin-film-on-steel sensor technology are all features of the new FPT flush pressure transmitter. The diaphragm’s extremely robust front offers the same sensitivity and about five times the material thickness of conventional transmitters.

The flush FPT pressure transmitter has a G1/2“ external pressure connector which ranges from 0...1 to 0...100 bar, 0...15 to 0...1500psi, respectively as well as standard industrial output signals and connectors. The new flush FPT pressure transmitter with its sleek, durable surface is the ideal choice for use in engine and mechanical engineering, hydraulics, process technology, waste water treatment and chemical, food and pharmaceutical industries among many others.
