Analog Signal Conditioner IMX – a device that’s three in one
With the IMX, WayCon Positionsmesstechnik offers a device that quickly converts input signals (position, frequency, SSI and speed) into absolute analog values. The analog variables of current and voltage can be scaled from 0/4 ... 20 mA and -10...+10 V respectively as desired.
The IMX can read TTL / RS422, HTL differential, HTL PNP and HTL NPN incremental input signals and also has an SSI interface. The analog signal conditioner stands out for its rapid processing of signals up to 1 MHz, which are converted almost instantaneously.
The converted signals are available for further processing at 16-Bit resolution and up to 32-Bit resolution with the SSI interface
The analog signal conditioner IMX supplies measuring sensors with up to 24 VDC. As a universal signal conditioner, the IMX facilitates linkages with almost all industrial sensors. Six control inputs and outputs maximise the flexibility of the device - and it all comes together in one compact unit. The housing is made of high-quality plastic with a 35 mm DIN rail according to the EN 60715 standard. This makes for a light device weighing just 100 g.
