Thermopile Array HTPA 16x16 back in smaller package size
Heimann Sensor is offering a wide portfolio of thermopile arrays with different number of sensitive elements, ranging from 8x8 or 16x4 in TO39 package size to 32x31 and 64x62 in TO8 packages. HTPA 16x16 has recently been redesigned and the new design now fits into the smaller, diameter 9mm, package. Live sensors will be shown at our booth B1/316 at the electronica show in Munich in November.
HTPA 16x16 will be available with 5 different integrated lenses, L2.1, L2.85, L3.6, L5.5 or L7.0, which results in field of view options for the 16 elements ranging from 28° to 90°. Customers can choose between these lens options to select a field of view that is best fitting to their application. 6 pins are needed for supplies and digital signal output. The sensor comes pre-calibrated with the calibration data stored in an internal EEPROM. Frame rates range from 12.5 Hz for the calibrated version up to 400 Hz. Besides the sensor version also modules with different interfaces will be offered.
Applications include people detection, people counting, movement tracking and hot spot detection.
Heimann Sensor GmbH
Heimann Sensor is a well known manufacturer of infrared sensors and modules. Main applications are remote temperature measurement and gas detection in industrial, medical, automotive and consumer markets. For several years we are developing a family of thermopile array sensors starting from very small number of elements for spatial temperature measurement up to infrared arrays with 82x62 elements.
