376.000 meters for inclusion and a strong Kirchheim
The sensor people from Leuze electronic took part in the 6th annual AKB charity fun run in Kirchheim/Teck on July 10, 2019, as an athletically motivated team and raised a total of 470 euros.
Owen, July 11, 2019 – This year once again, Leuze electronic supported the AKB charity fun run for the Action Group for People With and Without Disability (Aktionskreis für Menschen mit und ohne Behinderung, AKB) in Kirchheim/Teck as sponsor with a monetary donation. A total of 800 euros went directly into the sponsor pool. In addition to the company's donation, 42 sensor people from Leuze electronic from a wide range of departments lined up at the start and ran a total of 376.000 meters, thereby raising 470 euros. All proceeds in 2019 will be shared between the AKB as well as the action group "Starkes Kirchheim – No child left behind!", which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. The association finances inclusion recreational activities during school vacations and on weekends. Furthermore, the donation offers children and youth from difficult financial circumstances improved educational opportunities, such as through projects like music lessons, tutoring or school breakfast, which Leuze electronic has already supported with its 2017 Christmas donation.
