Berthold successfully applies the new moisture analyzer Micro-Polar Moist LB 568 to coking plants

BERTHOLD Technologies GmbH & Co. KG: The new moisture analyzer Micro-Polar Moist LB 568 from Berthold Technologies has proven successful in several applications. Amongst them: the online moisture measurement of coking coal. Although conventional microwave systems normally failed on this application, the new moisture measurement system showed excellent accuracy and stability.

Besides the moisture value, the analyzer can also provide the bulk density of the coal, which leads to an improved charging of the coke chambers, achieving significant cost savings of several thousand Euros per month. In addition the analyzer is easy to handle and requires virtually no maintenance.
