Fingertip probes for precision thickness gauging
Fingertip probes are perfect suited for thickness measurements on small surfaces and spots that are hard to reach. In addition, these small surface probes make measurements on curved surfaces much easier.
SONOTEC GmbH has unique know-how for the production of piezocomposites. The PXS and TXS fingertip probe series are manufactured with SONOTEC Piezocomposite Technology at SONOTEC headquarters in Germany. The small surface probes are used in a wide range of UT (ultrasonic testing) applications, just to name a few:
- TXS7.5: Dual element probe for corrosion testing and detection of small pitting
- PXS10: Single element probe with exchangeable delay line for thin materials
- PXS15: Single element probe with exchangeable delay line for spot weld testing
The specialist for ultrasonic solutions guarantees highest quality and an outstanding reproducibility of the acoustic properties of every single probe.
