greenTEG AG exhibits innovative OEM laser power and position sensors at Photonics West 2017
greenTEG offers a wide range of innovative OEM laser power and position sensors for high-precision measurements in applications such as med-tech, cutting, welding, soldering, marking, and 3-D printing.
greenTEG AG will present an exciting new sensor for fiber laser applications to be launched in 2017. Be sure to visit us at Booth 4520 to learn more about our products and to enjoy a glass of excellent Swiss wine. We look forward to meeting you and discussing your application requirements!
A broad range of power and position sensing solutions
greenTEG’s product portfolio of laser power and position sensors (gRAY) includes bare-die laser OEM components, PCB-mounted, mounted, as well as housed sensors. Further innovations include a digital measurement head which compensates for thermally induced measurement errors.
All gRAY sensors are based on thermopile technology and detect laser light from the UV to the IR range up to powers of 100W. Compared to similar products, gRAY laser power sensors are in many applications faster, and, due to their compact design, easier to integrate into existing systems, for example directly in the laser source. greenTEG offers customers extensive possibilities for sensor integration in their applications. We work with our customers to turn their ideas into reality.
Sensing fiber laser power
A major trend in the laser industry are fiber lasers which will be the dominant technology for many applications in the future. greenTEG is currently working on sensors specifically tailored to the requirements when measuring the power of fiber-coupled light. The product will be announced at Photonics West 2017.
