Inductive switches in new cubic designs

The new IS 240 and IS 244 sensor variants from Leuze electronic impress in particular with their wide scanning ranges and very simple mounting and alignment.

With the IS 240 and IS 244 inductive switches, Leuze electronic is extending its extensive product line to include designs with cubic housings that are preferred for use in particular in intralogistics applications. The sensors can be flexibly mounted and, with a sensor field that can be oriented in five directions, they offer exceptionally easy alignment. A very wide range of detection applications can thus be performed quickly and easily.

Of particular note are the comparatively wide scanning ranges. The flat IS 240 sensors offer highly reliable detection behavior up to 8.0 mm, the IS 244 designs up to 40.0 mm. The quadratic IS 244 sensors are characterized furthermore by the short length of the housing. The M12 standard connection and the use of ready-made cables enable the sensors to be quickly and faultlessly connected. The alternative design with clamp connection up to 2.5 mm² allows the user the free choice of cables to be used. A further bonus with the sensors are the status displays that are highly visible from all sides.
