Lens type thermopile single sensor

Heimann Sensor was able to manufacture more than 1.5 million high quality lens type single element thermopile sensors HMS M21 L3.0 in the last 18 months. These small sized sensors are mainly used for high quality forehead thermometers with medical accuracy. The lens allows to have a small measurement spot on the forehead, while the large TP2 chip generates a high signal-to-noise ratio. This facilitates highly accuracy non-contact temperature measurements and can also be employed in an industrial context.
