WIKA's new development centre: Innovation process across 24,100 m2

Klingenberg, January 2022. The WIKA Group's new development centre at its headquarters in Klingenberg am Main has been completed. With this, the company has taken a decisive step towards future growth.

The development centre, with an area of 24,100 m2, brings together all departments involved in the innovation process. It is structured in such a way that new products and solutions for pressure, temperature, level, flow and force can be brought to market readiness in a short time. Strengthening the personnel capacity in the development department by around 50 positions in 2022 underlines the growth targets.

The building complex, with its striking block-shaped architecture, represents the largest single investment in the company's 75-year history. In this case, it totals 50 million euros. Furthermore, WIKA is investing continuously in the expansion of its production sites worldwide. The group of companies has a total of 43 subsidiaries and more than 10,000 employees.
