New ultrasonic testing device for preventive maintenance

SONOTEC: The SONAPHONE digital ultrasonic testing device is at the center of the presence of SONOTEC Ultraschallsensorik Halle GmbH at HANNOVER MESSE. From 25 to 29 April 2016 the ultrasonic specialist will present its new innovative ultrasonic testing device for preventive maintenance for the first time as part of the special display ‘Predictive Maintenance’ in hall 17.
Nowadays preventive maintenance is an even more important value driver in industry. Therefore, HANNOVER MESSE is devoting a special exhibition area to the topic of "Predictive Maintenance" in 2016, in which SONOTEC will present the new SONAPHONE and will show how companies can save energy and improve total production efficiency with ultrasonic testing devices.
"Our new SONAPHONE is trend-setting for preventive maintenance. The goal was to develop the first user-friendly ultrasonic testing device, which combines new measuring technology, innovative sensors and intelligent software for preventive maintenance," explains Hans-Joachim Münch, CEO of SONOTEC. The ultrasonic specialist from Halle (Saale) has been developing and selling ultrasonic testing devices for 25 years for leak detection in compressed air and gas systems, monitoring of bearings, detection of partial discharges and checking valves and steam traps. The mobile ultrasonic testing devices make a significant contribution to increased plant safety and availability and are part of the basic equipment of many maintenance technicians. With the new SONAPHONE the ultrasonic specialist SONOTEC is now expanding its portfolio with an innovative ultrasonic testing device for Industry 4.0.
