Pilz at the Hannover Messe 2014 in Hall 9; Stand D17 - Automation: complete and simple!

Pilz GmbH & Co. KG is exhibiting at the 2014 Hannover Messe under the motto "Automation: complete and simple", showing industry solutions and product innovations from the fields of sensor, control and drive technology, including software. The Pilz range of services with tailor-made solutions complete our presentations at the exhibition.

Safety gate systems for more than one function
In the field of sensor technology PSEN, Pilz will be exhibiting a new version of the safety gate systems PSENsgate from the PSEN product range, on which control elements can be integrated as an option. As with all Pilz safety gate systems, it meets the specifications of the new standard EN ISO 14119.

The Ostfildern-based company will also be exhibiting the dual-function operating mode selector switch PITmode (access authorisation control and operating mode selection) in a modern, functional design: one new feature is the self-explanatory icons, which are designed specifically for the machine tool industry, so it can be used internationally in compliance with the standards.

Additional sizes expand the Pilz Motion Control range
Another key focus is the presentation of complete drive technology systems. We will be presenting two more sizes of the energy efficient servo motors PMCtendo SZ, which supplement the Pilz Motion Control range.

New editor for standard and/or safety
In terms of the automation system PSS 4000, the complete safe automation supplier will be presenting the new editor PAS LD (Ladder Diagram). This can be used to create safety-related programs, programs for automation tasks or a combination of the two.

Holistic solutions for the widest range of industries
With its products and services, Pilz is at home worldwide in every industry. The focus of this year's exhibition presence is concentrated on solutions for classic engineering in the packaging, machine tool and press industries. However, we will also be exhibiting automation solutions for the field of "Metropolitan Solutions": for mobility, logistics and building services technology. One of the points Pilz is emphasising in Hannover is that proven safety and automation solutions can also be used in urban infrastructures, such as those in building services technology.

Our range of tailor-made services is also featured at the exhibition. Pilz services provide for maximum availability and plant safety and supplement the Pilz product portfolio - starting with the risk assessment and moving on to the safety concept, right through to CE certification.

This year's demonstration model on the Pilz stand illustrates the teamwork between all our components and systems: With our eyes on the 2014 World Cup, visitors can experience the inch-perfect moves of sensor, control and drive technology, not forgetting visualisation, and take on our table football team, automated using Pilz products.
