The next generation of gap measurement - gapCONTROL Setup Software 2.0

Micro-Epsilon: The Micro-Epsilon gapCONTROL Setup Software 2.0 is a new tool for simplifying the set up, configuration and measurement value analyzes of the gapCONTROL laser profile scanner, a sensor developed specifically for gap measurement tasks.

The software enables set up and configuration of the sensor for gap measurement tasks. In the latest version, particular importance has been given to simplifying sensor operation without limiting its ability to perform the most complex gap measurements. New modes have been introduced for simplifying measurement tasks, enabling these to be completed with just a few mouse clicks. The user can solve more complex tasks by using the "Switch to Advanced" function, which opens supplementary settings with additional set up and configuration options.

A further improvement is the "Result Monitor" analysis tool. This is used in live operational mode or for saved profiles in order to observe and evaluate the measurement value sequence supported by, for example, a cgm (capability gage measurement) analysis.
