Vert-X EasyAdapt Evaluation Kit for user programming of Vert-X rotary sensors

With its absolute-measuring magnetic rotary sensors of the Vert-X MH-C2 family, Contelec has extended the scope of flexibility of angle measurement, enabling customer-specific user programming of the various parameters, such as characteristic curve, angle range, zero point, switching points and direction of rotation.

Contelec is now launching the “Vert-X EasyAdapt Evaluation Kit”, which allows programming of the Vert-X 28 MH-C2 angle sensor, included in the kit, to customer requirements. The “Vert-X EasyAdapt Evaluation Kit” contains all components required for easy, intuitive programming. The kit comprises the userfriendly “Vert-X Commander” programming software, which enables convenient definition of the required parameters, and the “Vert-X Programmer” – the actual programming unit – together with all necessary cables and an instruction manual. The “Vert-X EasyAdapt Evaluation Kit” supports the user in rapid prototyping and also allows the user to try out the programmable rotary sensors in an extremely diverse range of applications.

The easy programmability of the Vert-X MH-C2 angle sensors opens up hitherto unimaginable possibilities, for example allowing integration of customer-specific characteristic curves and virtually limitless switching functions. Also worthy of mention is the option of programming on the production line. This puts the operator in the position of using a computer and the “Vert-X EasyAdapt” to alter parameters, including characteristic curves, angle range, indexing points (e.g. zero point) and direction of rotation, to adapt to the specific conditions.
