pico+TF ultrasonic sensors
Small in size, with a large chemical resistance
microsonic GmbH: The pico+TF sensors are the smallest chemically-resistant ultrasonic sensors available from microsonic. With four different detection ranges, they cover a measurement range of 20 mm to 1.3 m. They are available with both analogue and switching outputs and with an IO link interface. The analogue output versions are available with a voltage output of 0-10 V and a current output of 4-20 mA.
The compact dimensions of the pico+TF sensors makes them ideal for distance measurement in restricted installation contexts. The ultrasonic transformer is protected by PTFE film. The exterior PVDF coating with its M22 x 1.5 external thread seals the ultrasonic transformer from the sensor housing. A typical application for these innovative new ultrasonic sensors is the fill level monitoring of aggressive paints and inks such as those used in the digital printing sector.
About microsonic: microsonic is a specialist for ultrasound sensor technology in the area of industrial automation engineering. In addition to ultrasonic distance sensors, it also produces special sensors such as ultrasound double-sheet control which work without calibration, or ultrasonic proximity switches with switching frequencies of up to 250 Hz. The owner-managed company produces in Germany at its site on the Dortmund Phoenix lake.
